Well, this almost passed unnoticed as I’m away baking in Bangalore. I’ve been Carrying on up the Dale for 14 years, which is something of an achievement. I never imagined I’d keep it going but there you go…….

Congratulations on 14 years. Its very impressive and I am truly glad I got to enjoy your posts. Your blog has been highly influential in my life like in that I have patterned my blog after yours. In addition since your armies have always looked liked armies I have followed your examples. Including making my regiments look like regiments and adding in the outstanding background and extra figures that enliven your tables. Many thanks for all you have done and here is hoping for another 14 years or more.
