The ramblings of a wargamer, originally up a valley in a wet and windy place and now back in civilisation.
Feel free to use the photos of my collections but please attribute them to me
Exciting. Lots of work, but always neat as it gets completed.
Love the amount of light you are getting in there.
It should be ready for painting and final electric s work next week. Then I’m putting a off table reserves shelf along each long wall and my painting station in the top left corner and display units down the left wall. I will soon fill it though and once the table is in it’ll look smaller I reckon.
You lucky man Colin - looks fantastic - don’t forget the projector and big screen for war movie night !
already on the list Ian, blog with the wine/beer cooler and the hot tub! you will of course be very welcome to visit if you so wish.
along with I mean.....
Simply envious. Look forward to seeing it finished and the first game put on before Xmas?
thanks but we won't be in until mid January
Looks like it's going to be a great space Colin, plenty natural light too
What size of table are you planning Colin ? You could have a monster by the look of the building
Graham, I am planning on 12’ x 6’ with the option of an additional 3’ To the length with a drop down section when required. The room is 21’ long so I can’t go any bigger if I want some space to move around the table and put the beer fridge, tv, recliner and painting area.
Nice looking room. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks when finished.Jim
".......looking forward to filling this space to capacity...." with original military artworks! It looks absolutely great Colin and a standard 12 x 6 should do well for most games, I use mine that size only for very special occasions, so I am envious too. Once you are in will Katherine ever see you?
What wonderful space that is! The skylights are a nice touch too.Best Regards,Stokes
Looks sensational Colin and it will be an absolute sight to behold once fully fitted and overflowing with figures, prints and books. Lucky man indeed!
Not jealous, not jealous at all no sirree.(Maybe just a little bit)OK alreadyA LOT jealous !Looks great Colin, enjoy !
thanks Joe. I'm sure we can arrange for you to visit, perhaps cadging a lift off Conrad?
I am suffering from man-cave jealousy. Big time. Lovely light you'll have in there
thanks Matt. the good light will show up all the dust!
I’m too jealous to speak, so I won’t! 😉
