The ramblings of a wargamer, originally up a valley in a wet and windy place and now back in civilisation.

Over the past few days of sunny weather I took myself out into the garden to start this piece which I am rather pleased with. Its not quite finished as I need to add some building materials and rubble at each end. I don't have any Romans and have no desire to start them or a Gangs of Rome project, but I reckoned this wouldn't look out of place in some games set during the Italian Wars or in the wars of the French Revolution in northern Italy. I don't envisage people fighting over it, but plan simply for it to be a table edge piece of scenery. We shall see what it looks like in a few weeks.
